An Overview of Market Conditions, Project Structure and Contracts in Liquefaction Terminals

Abstract
The thesis is going to explore the main conditions that should be considered when an LNG project is proposed for implementation, especially an onshore liquefaction terminal construction. The thesis investigates the LNG production chain process to determine the costs involved in each stage, provides an overview of the LNG market capacity and availability through the analysis of the worldwide import and export countries, describes the common projects structure applied in LNG projects and presents the terms and conditions applied in LNG Sales and Purchase Agreements. These are important factors that should be further analysed to assist in decision making of stakeholders to invest in a proposed LNG project.
